(2) George Murray, born 12th January 1786; died
16th February i860. He was Bishop of
Rochester 1827-60. On 5th May 181 1 he
married Sarah Hay, daughter of Robert,
ninth Earl of Kinnoull, and had issue.
(3) Charles Murray, died January 1808. He mar-
ried, 1806, Anne, daughter of Thomas
Dashwood.
(4) Edward Murray, born 5th November 1798 ;
died 1st July 1852. He was Vicar of
Northolt, Middlesex. On 14th February
1822 he married Ruperta, only child of
Sir George Wright, Bt, and had issue.
(5) Henry Murray, born February 1800; died s.p.
26th November 1831. He married, 19th
October 1829, Catherine, daughter of Henry
Otway and his wife, Baroness Braye.
(e) William Murray, born 20th March 1762 ; died 29th Dec-
ember 1796. He married, 14th June 1789, Mary,
daughter of James Hodges, who died 29th May 1827,
leaving : —
(1) Vice-Admiral James Arthur Murray, born 25th
March 1790; died 5th March i860. He
married, first, 13th December 1821, Harriet,
daughter of William Coupland; and, second,
3rd May 1838, Julia, daughter of John
Delme. Issue by both wives.
(/) Henry Murray, born 13th June 1767; died 3rd December
1805. On 8th December 1786 he married Elizabeth,
daughter of Richard Kent, who died 20th December
1847, having had :—
(1) Richard Murray, born 19th October 1787; died
16th October 1843. He married, first, 1st
June 181 1, Catherine, daughter of John J.
Bacon, who died 30th April 1817 ; second,
1819, Margaret, daughter of William Tenni-
son, who died 8th November 1824. He
had issue by both wives.
(g) Charles Murray, born 21st April 177 1 ; died 5th May 1808.
He was Archdeacon of Sodor and Man. On 18th June
1793 he married Alicia, daughter of George Midford,
who died 13th June 181 3. Under the Will of a great-
uncle she assumed the name of Aynsley, and her
husband did likewise. They had issue according to
Burke's Peerage : —
(1) John Murray- Aynsley of Underdown, Hereford,
born 2nd June 179S; died 25th March 1870.
He married, 24th June 1820, Emma,
daughter of Samuel Peach Peach (formerly
Cruger), who died February 1876, leaving
issue : —
(a) Vice - Admiral Charles Murray-
Aynsley, C.B., of Hall Court,
