^20 HISTORY OF THE EARLDOMS OF
CLAIMANT OF THE EaRLDOM OF StRATHERN, aS
sole heir of the body of David Earl of Strathern,
son of King Robert the Second ; of the Earl-
dom OF Monteith, as sole heir general of the
body of Malise Graham, who was created to
that Dignity about the year 1427 > and of the
Earldom of Airthj as sole heir of the body
of William seventh Earl of Monteith, who was
created Earl of Airth, to hold to him and his
heirs, by King Charles the First, in the year
1633.
