mother, the Countess Mareschal, at Fetteresso.
She married Sir John Allardice of Allardice, by
whom she had two sons, John^ and George.^
Lady Mary Allardice, who survived both her
sons, always asserted her right to be Countess
of Strathern. She was buried on the 2nd of
December, 1720.^
JohnAllar- John Allardice of Allardice, Esq., her
1690. ^''' eldest son, was baptized on the 6th of August,
16671, married, on the 28th of October, 1690,
Elizabeth, daughter of William Barclay of Bal-
makewan^ and died, without issue, in Decem-
ber 1690^ leaving his estate charged with a
jointure to his widow. His brother.
