THE next Caddet of Corsindae is Balflug Come of John
Forbes younger Son of William Forbes of Corsindae This
John Married Janet Forbes Daughter to the Laird of Bruix
and had William of Balflug who married Margaret Couts
Daughter to the Laird of Achtercoul and had John Forbes
of Balflug who by a Contract of Excambion betwixt him and
the Lord Forbes Changed his Lands of Balflug for the Lands
of Corsindae Since which time his Successors have been Lairds
of Corsindae.

THE Last and youngest Caddet of Corsindae was William
Forbes of Newhills youngest Son to William Forbes of Cor-
sindae was Succeeded by Henry Forbes of Newhills his Son
who had two Sons Andrew Forbes of Newhills and Alexander
Forbes of Achintoul.

THE next Caddet of the house of Forbes is FORBES of
CORSE whose Ancestor was Patrick Forbes Son to James Lord
Forbes by Giles Keith and brother to William Lord Forbes
to whom he is called brother German in a Charter he gets
of the Lands of Corse &c.

DAVID FORBES of Corse his Son I know from Authentick
Vouchers married Margaret Panter Sister to Patrick Panter
who was Secratarie to King James the 4th and 5th. He was
called a gallant Brave man and was Called trail the Ax

PATRICK FORBES of Corse his Son who by his
Daughter to had

WILLIAM FORBES of Corse his Son who was the first that Em-
braced the Reformed Religion. He married Elisabeth Strachan
Daughter to the Laird of Thornton and had Seven Sons.
