MALCOM 2d Son to the Laird of Drimminer having Spent

the fashion of that part of the Countrey was Called John
Malcomson.

JOHN MALCOMSON Succeeded his father in Means & Manners
who in a Contest with the Kers of Rothymurkus about the
Bylerie of Braemarr was Killed and left behind him 3 Sons
Robert who dyed but Children, Alexander had a Son of
Good Life and Malcom.

MALCOM had 4 Sons Viz: John of Culwharie, Robert of
Bucham, James of Ledmacoy and Peter of Argerth.

JOHN FORBES 3d Son to the above Laird of Drimminer (called
John out with the Sword) A man of Lewd Life, So the King
being Informed of his great Oppression wrote to Sir Alexander
Forbes of Drimminer to put Remeide thereto And if he would
not he would Charge Others for that Effect whereupon Sir
Alexander took him at the Kirk of Forbes, and caused Strike
off his head and Buried him behind the Kirk And Set his
grave about with tiped Stons which as yet is there to be Seen.
