Sister to Sir John the Sixth of the Name married Gilbert
Johnstoun of the Overtown of Dyce.

(3.) CHRISTIAN LESLEY Second Daughter married George
Lesley of Old-Craig. She bare to him a Daughter
Lesley, who married Mr. Robert Cults.

Leith of Edingarrock.

NORMAN LESLEY the Third Son of John Laird of Wardes
Third of the Name succeeded to his Nephew John the 7^th Laird
of Wardes. He married Marjory Leith Daughter to John
Leith of Hillhead. He purchased the Half of New-Raine.
His Wife bare Two Sons, John and Alexander Lesleys, and 2
Daughters This was his Second
Wife. The First was Elphinstoun Widow to Walter Innes of
Ardanmes.

JOHN LESLEY eldest Son to Norman Lesley of New-Raine
married Janet Gordon Daughter to Gordon of Newtoun.
She bare Patrick¹ Lesley present Possessor of the Half of New
Raine. He married and has
Children.

ALEXANDER LESLEY Second Son to Norman. He purchased
Tullo near Strathbogy. He married Morison
Sister to the Laird of Boignie, and has Children by her, One
Son Alexander Lesley.

This Alexander the Father is designed of Overtullich.

SIR WILLIAM LESLEY 8th and last Laird of Wardes Second
Son to John Lesley Second of the Name and Fifth Laird of
Wardes succeeded to his Nephew Sir John, who died unmarried.
He married Gordon Daughter to
Gordon of Newtoun. She bare 4 Sons, John, William, Patrick
and Alexander, and 3 Daughters,
