Representatives on this Committee will cease to be members on
removal from the active list, proceeding on Foreign Service, ceasing
to be employed at A.S.P.T. and Royal Military Academy or to be
nominated by a Command Sports Board or by the Army Sport
Control Board,
or
Territorial Army Sport Association.
6. Executive Committee
The following Officials shall be appointed by the General Committee
annually:
Chairman of the Executive Committee.
Vice-Chairman of the Executive Committee.
Hon. Secretary of the Association.
Hon. Treasurer of the Association.
Chairman of the Selection Committee.
One of the Special Members.
In the absence of the Chairman, the senior Officer will take the
chair. Four members shall form a quorum at an Executive Com-
mittee Meeting. The Chairman has power to call Executive Committee
Meetings as and when required, and to co-opt any member of the
General Committee.
7.
Management
(a) The Executive Committee shall meet whenever necessary and
deal, on behalf of the General Committee, with any matter which
may be placed before it, and its decision shall be accepted as those
of the General Committee, subject to approval at the next General
Committee Meeting.
(b) A Sub-Committee of the Executive, composed of the Chair-
man, Hon. Secretary, and Hon. Treasurer, with power to co-opt
any members of the Executive or General Committees, shall be
allowed to decide any technical question not necessitating an alteration
of the rules or policy of the Army Boxing Association.
8. Imperial Services Boxing Association
The Army B.A. is affiliated to the I.S.B.A., which is the controlling
body for the regular forces of the R.N., Army and Air Force.
9. Disqualifications
The majority of disqualifications are on account of accidental
fouls or infringements of the rules. Sometimes these infringements
are committed by boxers who are ignorant of the rules or have been
badly taught.
So that the boxer is made aware of his offence, whether accidental
or otherwise and appropriate steps are taken to correct the technical
fault which led to his disqualification the following instructions are
laid down:—
