(a) The uniform distance between the respective goal lines must
not exceed

yards nor be less than

(b) In England, a District Association may grant exemption from
the dimensions in paragraph (a) for competitions confined to
its own area. '
(c) For matches played by women, the maximum measurements
are

yards by 17 yards.
(d) Distinctive marks must be provided on both sides of the field
of play to denote the goal line, two yards and four yards from
that line, and half distance between the goal lines. These
markings must be clearly visible throughout the game. The
boundary of the field of play at both ends is
