Service Swimming, Diving and Water Polo Cham-
pionships.
(ii) Army Champions, i.e. winners of individual events
at the Army Swimming and Diving Championships.
(iii) Individuals who represent the Army in the match v.
the Civil Service.
Additional badges are obtainable from the Hon.
Secretary at 8/- each.

Ties.
May be worn by all individuals entitled to the blazer
and costume badge; also the President and Hon. Secretary
(including ex-officio), obtainable from the Hon. Secretary
at 14/6d. each.
COMBINED SERVICES SWIMMING ASSOCIATION
I.
The C.S.S.A. organize three separate annual championships
for men; swimming, diving and water polo and two for women;
swimming and diving. They are held under A.S.A. laws between
teams .representing the Royal Navy, the Army and the Royal Air
Force.
These championships were first held in 1924 between the Royal
Navy and the Army and in 1927 the Royal Air Force competed for
the first time.
Organisation
2. The championships are organised by a committee consisting
of not more than four representatives per service, of whom one
only may vote. A representative of each women's service shall be
invited to attend meetings of the committee.
The Chairman to be from the organising service for the year.
(viz.,
1959—R.A.F.,
196o—Army, 1961—R.N.). The Director of
Sport R.A.F. will nominate a member of his staff as secretary.
A committee meeting will be held each year, as soon as con-
venient after the championships have taken place.
The conditions for the championships will be reviewed annually
by the Committee. Any additions to the programme require
unanimity. Any deletions or alterations may be made by majority
vote only. The C.S.S.A. representative on the A.S.A. Committee
(see A.S.A. laws 19 and 44) will be elected at this meeting, also the
finances of the championships will be arranged.
3. The championships will be run by an organising sub-
committee consisting of the Honorary Secretaries of the three
Services associations. The programme will be as follows
1st day-88o yards Free Style and Water Polo.
2nd day—Swimming and Water Polo.
4. Members of the Royal Naval Volunteer, Army and Royal
Air Force Reserves, Territorial and Auxiliary Forces are not
eligible to compete during their period on the Reserve or during
training.
