The lines delimiting such area, the lighting equipment or the roof
are out of court.
Service Box, or Box.
—A delimited area in each half-court,
from within which hand-in serves.
Short Line.
—A line set out upon the floor parallel to and 18 ft.
from the front wall, and extending the full width of the court.
Striker.—The player whose turn it is to play after the ball has
hit the front wall.
