VIII.—Handicaps
The Committee cannot allot handicaps. Members will be asked
to give their Club Handicaps when entering for competitions, but
the Committee may alter any handicap it considers necessary for
Society Meetings.
IX.—
Alteration
of
Rules
No proposition involving any radical alteration in the constitution
or rules of the Army Golfing Society, or in the conditions under
which the Army Golf Championship, the Black Watch Medal, the
Army Golf Challenge Cup, or the Argyll and Sutherland Cup are
at present played, shall be adopted unless it obtains the concurrence
of two-thirds of the members present at a General Meeting, at which
Meeting at least
40
members must be present and voting. Any
such proposition, should it be carried, will be adopted forthwith and
will be confirmed or negatived at the next Annual General Meeting
at which the same rules as to voting will apply.
No such proposition shall be entertained at a General Meeting
unless the terms thereof have been intimated in writing to the Hon.
Secretary at least two days prior to the General Meeting.

(a) 36 holes Medal Play Scratch for Championship Challenge
Cup. The winner will hold the title of Army Champion for the
year, receive a Medal and retain the Cup for one year. A prize will
be given to the runner-up.
(b)
36 holes Medal Play under handicap for two prizes.
Ties to be decided by playing an additional round of
18
holes
Medal Play.

ARMY GOLFING SOCIETY COMPETITIONS
Open
to all Members of the Army Golfing Society
Entrance fee ios. (to include (c) and
(d) )
(c) 36 Holes Medal Play Scratch for The Black Watch Chal-
lenge Medal and The Black Watch Medals (Gold and Silver).
(d)
The Royal Indian Army Service Corps Cup will be
awarded to the member of the Society returning the lowest score
under handicap over 36 holes. A prize wijl be given to the runner-
up. A prize will also be given for the best score, under handicap,
for the outward or inward 9 holes in either round.
(e) The Cavan National Playing Fields Challenge Cup
will be awarded to the member of the Society returning the lowest
score on handicap for the first or second
18
holes in Competition (d).

National Playing Fields Association.)
