Army Individual and Inter-Command Track Championships
Events
14. The following Track Championships shall be held annually:
Sprint. 4,000 Metres Individual (Australian)
1,000 Metres Time Trial. Pursuit.
5 Miles. 4,000 Metres Inter-Command Team
Pursuit.
4,000 Metres Inter-Corps Team Pur-
suit.
Entries and Selection
15. Individual Events
(a) Entry forms shall be available from Army C.U. Head-
quarters on demand, at least six weeks before the date of the
Championship.
(b) The completed forms, together with entry fees, shall be
returned to the Army C.U. Headquarters to arrive by not later
than 21 days before the Championship.
16. Inter-Command Team Pursuit
(a) A team of four riders shall be accepted from each Home
Command, Northern Ireland District and B.A.O.R.
(b) Entry forms shall be despatched to Command Representatives
to arrive by not later than six weeks before the Championship.
17. Inter-Corps Team Pursuit
(a) Teams of four riders each shall be accepted from each Corps.
(b) Teams will be selected by and at a meeting of Corps Represen-
tatives not more than 21 or less than 14 days before the Champion-
ship is held.
(c) Entry fee (10s. Od. per team) will be paid at this meeting.
Programmes
18. Programmes shall be despatched to all riders and to Com-
mand and Corps Representatives by at least 10 days before the
Championships.
Conditions
19. (a) Sprint : to be run off in heats as follows
Preliminary Rounds—heats as required (three up).
First Round—nine heats (three up).
Semi-finals —three heats (three up) over 1,000 metres.
Final—winners from semi-final in one match race over
1,000 metres.
(b) z,000 Metres Time Trial
Separate trials at
