COLOURS
In the event of a clash of colours in any round the home team
must change their jerseys. In the semi-finals or final both teams
must change.
RULES FOR THE
BOYS' ARMY CHALLENGE CUP COMPETITION
i.—GENERAL
The cup shall be called the " Boys' Army Challenge Cup " and
:an never be won outright. The cup shall be held by the winning
team and returned to Messrs. Carrington & Co., Ltd.,

Street, London, W.i, by ist March following the season of winning.
It will be insured annually by the Secretary, Army F.A. The cup
will not be taken out of the British Isles, but will be sent to Messrs.
Carrington & Co., Ltd., or to a parent unit in the event of the unit
leaving the British Isles. Medals will be presented to the winning
and losing teams in the final tie.

MANAGEMENT
The entire control and management of the competitions shall be
vested in the General Committee of the Army Football Association
or in such other committees as they may direct.
3.—
DEFINITION OF A UNIT AND ELIGIBILITY
(a) The competition shall be open to the enlisted boys of all
units of the Regular Army stationed in the British Isles. Each
member of a team must be a bona-fide boy and enlisted as such.
Boys are eligible to, play until they reach the age of
17
years and
six months.
(b) Every unit which has enlisted boys on its establishment is
entitled to enter a team or teams. The definition of a unit
will be as for the Army Cup Competition modified as shown in
para. (c) and
(d)
below.
(c) Depots and establishments where there are large numbers of
boys will be divided into groups either alphabetically or by
sections, companies, wings, etc., and each of these groups will
be entitled to enter a team.
(d)
The groups will be divided so that the total number of boys
from which a team may be selected shall not normally exceed
zoo boys. Where through organisation or other difficulties
it is found impossible to keep strictly within the total of zoo
boys, the question should be referred to the Army Football
Association for decision.
In calculating the number of boys the
strength
of the unit, on
September 1st of boys under 171 years of age should be inserted
on the entry form.
