season of winning. It will be insured annually by the Secretary,
Armv F.A.
The cup will not be taken out of the British Isles except by
a winning team in B.A.O.R., when the cup may be taken to Germany.
In this case the cost of insurance of the cup whilst in Germany will
be met by the unit concerned.
In addition to the challenge cup, a miniature cup will be presented
to the winning team, and medals or suitable souvenirs to both teams.
This competition is open to all units of the Army stationed in
the United Kingdom, Northern Ireland and B.A.O.R. A unit
will be as defined by the Army Sport Control Board. See " Defini-

3.—
ELIGIBILITY OF PLAYERS
In
addition to the rules regarding eligibility of players included
in "Definition of a Unit" as laid down on pages
40
to 45 the follow-
ing rules will apply to this competition :
(a) Three registered professionals only may play for their unit teams
in any match in this competition.
(b) In the event of postponed or replayed ties, only players who
were eligible on the date fixed for the completion of the round
shall be eligible to compete.
4.—
ROUNDS OF THE CUP
(a) The date on which each round is to be completed will be laid
down annually by the Army Football Association. On receipt
of entries for the competition, the General Committee will
decide at which round of the competition the team or teams
from B.A.O.R. should compete against the team or teams from
U.K. Numerical entries will be taken into consideration.
(b) The draw for all rounds for units serving in B.A.O.R, and
arrangements, including match officials, grounds, etc., will
be made by the B.A.O.R. Football Committee. The dates for
the completion of each round in B.A.O.R. must be adhered to,
and a copy of each round draw should be sent to the Secretary,
Army Football Association, immediately after the draw has
been made. Results of all ties will also be sent by the Hon.
Secretary, B.A.O.R. Football Committee, to the same address.
The draw for all rounds for units serving at home will
be made by the Army Football Association. The Army
