foreign professionals engaged for a period of not less
than three months.
(ii) For any such matches to be played in connection with
any amateur tournament or other competition confined
to amateurs.
(d) Knowingly playing for a prize with or against any person
other than an Amateur.
(e) Selling, or gaining any pecuniary advantage by means of
prizes won.
(f) Permitting his name or his likeness to be advertised as the
user of the goods of a manufacturer, agent or merchant.
(g) Allowing his name or his likeness or initials to be placed on
any lawn tennis requisite of which he is not the actual manu-
facturer or retailer.
(h) Advertising or permitting his name to be advertised com-
mercially to his own advantage in connection with : (i) Any
tournament, match or competition in which he is entered
as or is a competitor ; or (ii) the sale of any lawn tennis
requisites of which he is not the actual manufacturer or
retailer.
Contributing under his own name to the Press, Broadcast or
Television, in regard to and during the time of any tourna-
ment, match or competition in which he is entered as or is a
competitor, except with the specific consent of the Lawn
Tennis Association and under the direct control of the
Chairman of the Committee or other authorised management
of the event to which the contribution relates. In no case
may a player receive any pecuniary advantage. ,
Accepting money or gaining pecuniary advantage by :. (i)
posing for or permitting the taking of lawn tennis action film
or television pictures of himself; (ii) advertising his name or
permitting his name to be advertised as the author of any book
or press article on the game of which he is not the actual
author; (iii) using the goods of a manufacturer, agent or
merchant.
(k). Making any arrangements directly with foreign National
Associations, Areas or Clubs in contravention of the provision
of Rule 5 below.
Receiving any expenses other than such as are permitted by
these Rules.

For the purpose of this Rule, a player's name is held to include
his initials, recognisable pseudonym or other indication of his
identity.
3. A non-playing Captain of an Amateur team
must himself
be an Amateur and shall be subject to all Rules governing players.
It
