All ranks will join as Annual members at the special rate of
subscription fixed by the committee.
(c) Civilians may only be admitted at the discretion of the
Committee and if they are qualified and prepared to assist
in club operation.
(d) Serving Army officers and O.R.s will form at least 75%
of the total club membership.
(e) " Day Membership " of the Army Gliding Club includes
social membership for one month and any one selected
day as a flying member. Social members may be given
joy rides in the two seater, but Flying Members requiring
instruction will take priority.
Relatives, etc. may join as social (non-flying) members on
payment of the appropriate subscription.
Wives of members elected under (a) above are entitled
to the same privileges and subscriptions as their husbands.
Subscriptions
4. Details of current subscriptions and flying charges are pub-
lished separately on the Club Notice Board. The Club is a non-profit
making organisation and the Committee reserves the right to revise
subscriptions and other charges without prior notice to members

5. Club policy will be controlled by a Committee whose members
will be .—
The President.
The Chairman, Club Committee.
The Secretary/Treasurer.
Any member appointed or elected to the Committee of The
Surrey Gliding Club.
In the event of all the above members not being available, the
Chairman Club Committee, the Secretary/Treasurer and one other
member will form a quorum.
In addition, representatives from the following may be co-opted
when necessary or may attend formal meetings whenever they
wish :—
H.Q. Southern Command.
The Glider Pilot Regiment.
The Airborne Forces Depot.
The Staff College, Camberley.
The Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst.
The Mons Officer Cadet School.
The Army Sport Control Board.
The Association of Service Gliding Clubs.
