(c) Any unit smaller than the . above " units " may compete as a
"
unit " if it wishes.
Amateur Principles
2o. (a) All sport will be conducted in accordance with the strictest
amateur principles.
(b) Money prizes are forbidden.
Expenses
21. The Association will pay travelling expenses for such events
as may be decided upon from time to time. These expenses will
normally consist of third class rail or coach fares with reasonable
out-of-pocket expenses.
Competitions and Trophies
22
. The following T.A. Championships will be held annually
whenever circumstances permit :
(a) Association Football Challenge Cup Competition
Open to all T.A. units who have properly constituted football
clubs and who are affiliated to their respective County Football
Association.
The T.A. Football Challenge Cup is awarded to the winning unit.
(b) The Athletic Championships
Individual Championships, but certain team events may be
included.
(c) The Boxing Championships
Individual Championships for the`following weights
Officers and Other Ranks
Heavy Weight.
Light Heavy Weight.
Middle Weight.
Welter Weight.
Light Weight.
Feather Weight.
Other Ranks Only
Bantam Weight.
F1y�j'Weight.
There are challenge cups for each of the six officers' and eight
other ranks' weights.
The Scarborough Cup is awarded to the T.A. Division. scoring
most points in the Championships.
(d) Cross-Country Championships
Individual and unit team championship.
The
Daily Telegraph
Cup is awarded to the
winning
team.
