power to act as Hon. Treasurer, and a Committee consisting of
these Officers and not more than six Members of the Society.
a. (a)
The President, Vice-President, Captain and Members of
the Committee
-
will be elected at the Annual General Meeting.
The Captain will retire after holding office for two years: Other
office bearers, except the Hon. Secretary, will retire after three
years and will be eligible for re-election.
(b) The Hon. Secretary shall be a retired Officer member of the
Society ; and there shall be no limit to the period of his appoint-
ment except that it may be terminated by a year's notice given or
received. The Committee are empowered to grant the Hon.
Secretary and any Assistant Hon. Secretary employed a reasonable
annual bonus to cover out-of-pocket expenses.
(c) The Hon. Secretary may make such petty disbursements as
are in the general interests of the Society.
3. Vacancies on the executive of the Society shall be filled
pro
tem.,
by the Committee, subject to confirmation at the first General
Meeting.
4. At any Committee Meeting, three Members shall form a
quorum.
5. A General Meeting will be held annually.
6. The Committee may at any time convene a special General
Meeting of the Society.
V.—Matches
Any member shall have the power to get up a match between
the Society and any recognised Golf Club after obtaining the
permission of the Committee through the _Hon. Secretary. The
results of any matches so arranged, with details of individual
matches, will be sent to the Hon. Secretary. Under no circum-
stances may an Officer who is not a member of the Society be per-
mitted to play in a match in order to make up a side. Members are
requested to wear the colours of the Society when playing in such
matches. Ties of the correct pattern can be obtained from Beale
and Inman, Ltd.,

VI.—Competitions
A Meeting will be held annually, at which the following will be
played for; The Black Watch Challenge Medal, The Generals'
Cup, The Argyll and Sutherland Cup, The Cavan National Playing
Fields Cup, The Grenadier Guards' Challenge Cup, The Veterans'
Cup, The R.I.A.S.C. Cup, The Ordnance Cup, and such
handicap prizes as may be determined by the Committee.
VII.—Army Golf Championship and
Army Golf Challenge
Cup
The Army Golfing Society will conduct the annual Competitions
for the Army Golf Championship and the Army Golf Challenge
Cup (inter-Regimental).
