DEFINITION OF A UNIT, AND
ELIGIBILITY OF PLAYERS
These Rules below will, in future, govern all Army Inter-Unit
Championships except Golf, Lawn Tennis, Modern Pentathlon,
Polo, Rackets and Squash Rackets.
I
SECTION I. DEFINITION OF A UNIT
(1) Cavalry. (NOT belonging to Royal Armoured Corps.)
By Regiments.
(2) Royal Armoured Corps.
By Regiments.
R.A.C. Bovington as follows:
R.A.C. Gunnery School—one unit.
H.Q. R.A.C. Centre, D. & M. School and R.A.C. Depot—one
unit.
(3) Royal Artillery.
By Regiments.
(Note.
—The
Permanent Staff of the Boys' Battery, R.A., at
Rhyl will compete for 31st Training Regiment, R.A.)
(4) Royal Engineers.
By Regiments.
(5) Royal Signals.
By Regiments.
(6) Foot Guards and Infantry of the Line.
By Battalions.
(Note.—
Members of a Regimental Depot Party may represent
the Battalion of the Regiment.)
(7) Army Air Corps.
By Battalions, Regiments or Depot.
(Note.
—The
Glider Pilot Regiment and Airborne Forces Depot
may combine to form one unit.)
(8) Royal
Army Service Corps.
By Battalions.
By other small units, each having a separate W.E., or by amal-
gamation of these small units, vide
Note

(9) Royal Army Medical Corps.
By- Depot and Training Establishment—one unit.
