The Referee's ruling on all Questions relating to this Cham-
pionship, will be final.

The trophy will be held for one year by the winning Unit, who
will be responsible for returning it in time for award at the next
year's meeting. The A.S.U. will be responsible for insuring the
trophy.
Army Blazers and Blazer Badges
8.
Only those Officers and other ranks who have actually repre-
sented the Army at an Inter-Services Championship Meeting are
entitled to wear the above ; they are also entitled to wear the
A.S.U. costume badge and tie.
Badges shall be as follows :
(i) Blazer Badge, the Lion and Crown in gold over the
letters A.S.U., also in gold, all on a dark blue ground.
The date of representation shall be shown in gold under
the A.S.U. initials.
(ii) Costume Badge, similar to above, but the Lion and
Crown and A.S.U. to be in white on a dark blue. ground.
The above badges can only be obtained from the Hon. Secretary.
Blazer to be the Regulation Army Blazer of dark blue, with silver
gilt buttons. A.S.U. Blazer buttons may be obtained from the Hon.
Secretary.

Costume Badges and Tie

In
1925
all winners of first, second or third places in the Army
Swimming Individual events were granted permission to wear the
A.S.U. Costume Badge. These badges may be purchased from the
Hon. Secretary, price
3s.
6d.
In
1938
the following new rule was introduced: All individuals
who represent the Army in the Inter-Services Swimming Champion-
ships, as from
1938,
will be entitled to one A.S.U. costume badge
free of charge.
In
1939
it was decided that each member of the Army Team taking
part in the Inter-Services Championships should be issued, on loan
for the duration of the meeting, with one A.S.U. Costume with
Badge attached ; at the conclusion of the meeting members of the
team may, if they wish, purchase these costumes from the Hon.
Secretary at a reduced fee.
In the same year an A.S.U. Tie was also authorised which any
one entitled to wear the costume badge and the President and the
Honorary Secretary may wear.
These Ties may be purchased from the Hon. Secretary, price
4s. 3d.
