13.—Prizes
. (a) The winning team shall receive the Ding's Shield
and a replica. The Shield shall be held for one year, while
the replica remains the property of the Unit.
Each member of the team shall receive a wallet containing
a parchment certificate signed by the President of the Army
Boxing Association and a photograph of the King's Shield.
(b) The runner-up team shall receive the Noble Trophy and
a replica. The Trophy shall be held for one year, while the
replica remains the property of the Unit.
Each member of the team shall receive an Army B.A.
Bronze Medal.
NOTE.—Under no circumstances will the Shield or Trophy
be taken out of the country. Units ordered abroad will
return the Shield or Trophy to Messrs. Phillips, Wellington
Street, Aldershot, before sailing.
In any case, the Shield and Trophy must be returned to
Messrs. Phillips, Aldershot, by February 10th each year.
THE ARMY INDIVIDUAL CHAMPIONSHIPS.
Rules and Conditions for 1937.
1. Weights.
The following weights are open :—

: Heavy to Feather, inclusive; i.e., six weights.

: Heavy to Fly, inclusive; i.e., eight weights.
Note.—I.S.B.A. Rule 16 gives a list of weights.
2. Entries.
Entries are unlimited, Entrance fee of 5/- per competitor Js
charged. The " holder " in each weight need not pay entrance fee.
Entry forms will be sent through Commands to all Units at least
one month before first date of Championships. All competitors
must be bona fide Amateurs according to the definition on page 215.
The procedure for 1937 will be as follows :—
(i) Entries will be collected by Commands (forms will be
supplied to Command Representatives).
(ii) One month before the date of the final stages of the Cham-
pionships, Commands and Districts will notify the Army Boxing
Association of the number of entries received in each weight.
(iii) The Association will then inform each Command how many
in each weight will be required to compete in the Final stage in
London on 2nd, 3rd and 5th March. Commands will be allotted
vacancies in proportion to entries.
Commands will then arrange to hold the necessary eliminating
competitions.

Holders.—Title holders will be exempted from
Command eliminations in the Individual Championships..
