| Description | The Prince of Wales can be seen here inspecting a regimental band - he is furthest to the right in front. The band members are all standing to attention in a snow-covered field as the Prince and his entourage walk past. The Prince of Wales took part in many inspections, as did King George V and Queen Mary during their tours of the Western Front. Such occasions were generally considered to be good for raising morale.
