More than 200 volumes from our collection of medieval and early modern manuscripts are available from this site.

The volumes in this digitised collection come from a range of different countries.

They include such important volumes as the 15th-century manuscripts of John Barbour's 'Bruce' and Blind Hary's 'Wallace', the Bannatyne Manuscript and the Auchinleck Manuscript.

Most of these manuscripts have been digitised for the first time.
