ANNA.
Air Foxx : — "Jloladh na h-Oighe Ghàìdhealach.'"
Is àillìdh an Sàmhradh
Le blàtbs 's maisealachd,
Gach doirein uaigneach
Le dreach air aisig leis ;
Gach lus a's flùran
'S barrach ciibhraidh,
Mar fliàile tùise
Toirt slàint' as ìir dhiiinn.
Tha 'n ros 's neòinein
Cur fàilt le solas,
Le ùr-fhàs sgaoilte,
Ri grian nan òr-ghath;
Na sruthain airgiodach
Le borban ceblmhor,
A' ruith 's a dannsa,
Thar chlach a's dlioirneag.
Thig air chuairt learn,
Air feadh nan lòintean,
Pti taobh an tiillt
Air an robh sinn eMach,
To sgàil nan gengan
'S ann chluinnt' an smeòrach ;
'S do ghuth a b' annsa
'Nuair slieinn thu òran.
