Founded in 1890, for the treatment of persons afflicted with
cancer & kindred diseases, & to further the advancement
of medical & surgical science with reference to cancer.
A Dispensary in connection with the hospital was opened
in 1893. During the year 1902 the number of patients
treated were 88 in-door & 405 out-door

o'clock p.m. In connection with the dispensary, two
wards for skin diseases are provided in the Western
Infirmary, to which the directors have power to send the
more serious cases. A practical course for students is
held during the mouths of May, June & July each year.
The dispensary is entirely supported by voluntary contri-
butions
