The objects of this society are :— (1) The establishment, mainte-
nance, and union throughout the city and vicinity of associations
of young men for religious improvement, by meeting on Sabbaths
and engaging in conversation in God's Word, Ac. (2) The in-
stitution of week day evening classes, and other auxiliary agencies,
for the intellectual and moral improvement of young men. (3)
The maintenance of an evangelistic mission. This society has at
present 225 branches, and a membership of 8,90) ; 300 pupils arc
enrolled on its various educational agencies

The objects of the Union are to encourage, unite, and increase
