Three years since arrangements were entered into which concentrated the business of
Scotland into two large Branches, having their centres respectively in Edinburgh and
xlasgow, and giving to the Scottish Insurers in the Royal Insurance Company all the
idvantages of a National Institution. This proceeding has been attended with admirable
success, under the superintendence of the excellent Representatives of the Company, Mr.
Lhomas Frame and Mr. James Milligan, with a body of well-selected Agents— men of
ugh standing and known integrity in the various towns throughout the whole of Scotland.
Lhe Fire Business has consequently more than doubled within the period named."
