SECURITY. The Assured are protected by a guarantee fund of
upwards of a million and a half Stirling from the liabilities attaching to
mutual assurance.
PROFITS. Four-fiths, or Eighty per cent of the Profits are assigned
to Policies every fifth year. The assured are entitled to participate after
payment of one Premium.
CLAIMS. The Company has disbursed in payment of Claims and
additions upwards of £1,500,000. Claims arising in Scotland disbursed
without any requirements but such as are in accordance with Scottish law.
ASSIGNMENTS. Notices of Assignment acknowledged and
registered.
Proposals for Insurances may be made at the Chief Office, as above;
at the Branch Office, 16, Pall Mall, London; or to any of the Agents
throughout the Kingdom.

Begs to call the attention of the Trade and House Proprietors to his "COTTAGE WATER
CLOSET," which for simplicity, cleanliness, and durability, is unsurpassed by anything hitherto
invented. It is made entirely of Earthenware, including Cesspool and Basin for Stand of Water, con-
sequently it is not liable to get into disrepair from the Copper Basin or Lead Cesspool getting corroded.
It requires no Timber Boxing, and is supplied by a self-closing Valve so that it cannot be left apen.
