A bluish coloured fibrous asbestos is found in great quantities in I Kekxethmont parish extends about 6 miles in length by 3 in
the lisBures of the rocks, which the sportsmen frequently use for breadth, and is about 8 miles south from Huntly. The parish is
wadding to their fowling-pieces. The parish also abounds with watered by several small streams, and the general soil is fruitful,
freestone. The only river of note is the Bogie. In this pariah is a Population of the parish in 1871, 1,U62.

a quarter before six evening, and despatched thereto at half-past seven evening.
