POST-OFFICE REGULATIONS.
Ordinary Business. — The Office is, on Week Days, opened to the
public for Ordinary Business at 7 a.m. It is always closed at 9 p.m. On
Sunday the Office is open only from 10 a.m. till 11 a.m., and from 1 p.m.
till 2 p.m.; but the Letter Box remains open as on other days.
Money Order and Savings Bank Business is transacted from 9 a.m.
to 6 p.m., and on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
No Money Order or Savings Bank Business is transacted on a Sunday
or Sacramental Fast-Day.
DELIYERY OF LETTERS.
1st Dehvery by Letter-Carriers begins at 6.45 a.m.
2nd Do., Do, Do., 9.20 "
3rd Do., Do., Do., 7 p.m.
Deliveries to Riccarton begin at 6.45 a.m. and 7 p.m.
On Sundays and Sacramental Fast-Days there is no Delivery by Letter-
Carriers. Letters are, on Sundays, delivered from the Counter, from 10
a.m. till 11 a.m., and from 1 p.m. till 2 p.m.; and on Sacramental Fast-
Days from 8 a.m. till 9 a.m., and from 7 p.m. till 8 p.m. only.
PILLAR BOX COLLECTIONS.
Letters are collected from the Pillar Letter Boxes at the following
hours, viz.: —
