tersects the middle line of the River Clyde, north-
wards along the middle of said bridge and of Salt-
market and High Street to a point opposite the
middle of Rottenrow ; thence westwards along the
middle of Rottenrow to the middle of John Street ;
thence sonthwards along the middle of John Street
to the middle of Ingram Street ; thence westwards
along the middle of Ingram Street to a point opposite
the middle of Glassford Street ; thence southwards
along the middle line of Glassford Street and of
Stockwell Street and Victoria Bridge to a point where
it intersects the middle line of the River Clyde ; thence
np the middle of the River Clyde to the point in the
middle of Albert Bridge first before described ; and
Secondly — That portion of the Cityaiid Royal Burgh
comprehended within a line drawn from a point in
the middle of the River Clyde immediately opposite
the middle of Thistle Street, southwards along the

Road to the middle of Florence Street ; thence north-
wards along the middle of Florence Street and Rose
Street and a straight line in continuation of the same

comprehended within a line drawn from a point in the
middle line of Victoria Bridge where the same inter-
sects the middle line of the River Clyde, northwards
along the middle of said bridge, Stockwell Street,
and Glassford Street to the middle of Ingram Street;
thence eastwards along the middle of Ingram Street
to a point opposite the middle of John Street;
thence northwards along the middle of John
Street to Cathedral Street; thence westwards
along the middle of Cathedral Street and Bath
Street to the middle of West Nile Street; thence
southwards along the middle of West Nile Street
and Mitchell Street to the middle of Argyle Street;
thence westwards along the middle of Argyle Street
to a point opposite the middle of Jamaica Street ;
thence southwards along the middle line of Jamaica
Street and Glasgow Bridge till the same intersects

the middle of Mitchell Street; thence northwards
along the middle of Mitchell Street to the middle of
Gordon Street; thence westwards along the middle
of Gordon Street to the middle of Hope Street;
thence northwards along the middle of Hope Street
to a point opposite the middle of Bothwell Street;
thence westwards along the middle of Bothwell Street
to the middle of Pitt Street ; thence southwards
along the middle of Pitt Street to the middle of
Argyle Street ; thence westwards along the middle of
Argyle Street to a point where the middle line of
Argyle Street is intersected by the Royalty boundary
opposite the Royalty Stone, No. 209, which is
distant thirty-eight yards or thereby measured
along Argyle Street to the west of the middle
of M'Alpine Street ; thence southwards along
the said Royalty boundary line to the middle of the
River Clyde ; thence up the middle of the River
Clyde to the middle of Glasgow Bridge at the point

City within a line drawn from a point in the
middle of the River Clyde immediately opposite the
Royalty Stone, No. 210, which is distant thirty-six
yards or thereby measured along Broomielaw Street
to the west of the middle of M'Alpine Street, north-
wards along the Royalty boundary line to the middle
of the line of Argyle Sireet ; thence westwards along
the middle line of Dumbarton Road and the bridge
over the River Kelvin on Dumbarton Road to a
point where the same intersects the middle line of
the River Kelvin; thence down the middle of the
River Kelvin to the middle of the River Clyde;
thence up the middle of the river Clyde to the point
opposite the Royalty Stone, No. 210, first before
described.

City comprehended within a line drawn from a point ip
the middle of Argyle Street opposite the middle of Pitt
