Large Compound Bonuses. The Society being purely Mutual, all the profits
belong to the assured. At the Investigation, as at 31st December, 1905, the large
Compound Bonus of £1 15s. per cent, per annum was again declared. The profits
distributed have been so large that the sums assured by the earlier policies are noiv
more than doubled in amount.
Absolute Security. The Funds amount to over £5,000,000, being more than
16 years' purchase of the Premium Income. The Valuation of the Society's Liabilities
as at 31st December, 1905, made by the most stringent tests applied to any
similar institution, shows that the Society's Reserves are Unsukpassed by those
of any other Life Assurance Office.
Liberal Conditions as to Foreign Residence, Loans to meet Premiums,
Surrender Values, Non-Forfeitable Policies, etc.
Claims paid immediately on proof of Death and Title.
"There are few Life Offices in this country possessing
greater inherent attractions for New Entrants than
this nourishing mutual institution."— The Statist.
"There is scarcely any other office, perhaps there is no other
office, which holds quite such strong reserves or has quite
such good bonus prospects as the Scottish Amicable. It
represents British Life Assurance at its very best."— The
Saturday Review.
