(GOUIN'S SERIES METHOD),
GLASSICAIi AND MODERN LANGUAGES,
3 COAXES CRESCENT {late of 122 GEORGE STREET).
Glasgow Branch— At the CHRISTIAN INSTITUTE.
EIGHTH YEAR, 1900-1901.
Director: Monsieur LOUIS LATOUR,
LICENCIE ES LETTRES,
PROFESSOR OF ENGLISH AND SPANISH OF THE FRENCH UNIVERSITY
(ACADEIVIIE DE PARIS).
ON the SERIES METHOD, Foreign Languages (BOTH CLASSICAL AND
MODERN) are learnt in ihe most rapid, interesting, and easy way.
The SERIES METHOD (for a full exposition of wl.ich the reader is referred to GOUIN'S
book, 77/t' Arf of 1 caching and Shtdying Languages) has the paramount advantage of being the most
recent of all, and therefore an a priori improvement on all previous written or c -nversational systems.
The SERIES METHOD— as continually improved by Monsieur Louis Latour during
his seven years' daily experience with British students — may n^w claim to be the best
method for l-arning languages and the best systematised approximation to — in fact, QUITE
AS GOOD for most British people as — residence in th- country itself. This is ratified by the
numerous Testimonials given by some of the 800 STUDENTS that have been attending the
Edinburgh School and its Glasgow Branch from May 1896 to May 1900.
Besides, the Method has been rendered, by Monsieur Louis Latour, etymological and
graiinnatical as well as descriptive and conversational, and arranged so as to serve all teaching
purposes, so much so that even Commercial language is taught on the Series Method.
Free Specimen Lesson on application.
