BOUNDARIES OF MUNICIPAL WARDS.
to the middle of the Eiver Clyde ; thence westwards
down the middle of the Eiver Clyde to the middle of
Glasgow Bridge, at the point first before described.
XX, Ward.— Kingston.
That portion of the City and Eoyal Burgh com-
prehended within a line drawn from a point in the
middle of Glasgow Bridge where the same intersects
the middle line of the Eiver Clyde, southwards along
the middle of the Glasgow Bridge, Bridge Street,
Eglinton Street, and Victoria Eoad to a point where
the said road is intersected by the Parliamentary
boundary north of Allison Street ; thence following
the said Parliamentary boundary westwards, south-
wards, westwards, northwards, aud north-westwards
to the middle of tie Eiver Clyde ; thence eastwards
up the middle of the Eiver Clyde to the middle of
Glasgow Bridge, at the point first before described.
XXI. Ward.— Govanhill.
That portion of the City and Eoyal Burgh com-
prehended withm a line drawn from a point in the
middle line of Crown Street where the same is inter-
sected by the middle line of Caledonia Eoad, south-
wards along the middle of Crown Street and Cath-
cart Eoad to the Parliamentary boundary of the City
opposite the middle of Butterbiggins Eoad ; thence
following the Parliamentary boundary westwards,
southwards, westwards, south-westwards, westwards,
and southwards to the boundary between the Counties
of Lanark and Eenfrew on the south side of Allison
Street; thence following the said County boundary
southwards, eastwards, northwards, and eastwards to
the boundary between the Parishes of Cathcart and
Govan west of Aikenhead Eoad ; thence following the
said Parish boundary southwards and eastwards to
the Municipal boundary of the City at Mallsmire
Burn; thence north-eastwards and north-westwards
along the said Municipal boundary to the Parlia-
mentary boundary, north of Eutherglen Road ; thence
southwards and westwards along the said last-men-
tioned boundary until it is intersected by the middle
line of the continuation eastwards of the proposed
oew street which is distant thirty-four yards or
thereby measured in a southerly direction from the
south-west corner of the boundary wall of the Southern
Necropolis; thence westwards along the middle of
said new street to the middle of South Wellington
Street ; thence northwards along the middle of South
Wellington Street to the middle of Caledonia Eoad ;
thence westwards along the middle of Caledonia Eoad
to the middle of Crown Street, at the point first
before described.
XXII. Ward.— Langside.
That portion of the City and Eoyal Burgh com-
prehended within a line drawn from a point in the
middle line of Pollokshaws Eoad where the same is
antersected by the Parliamentary boundary of the City
at Strathbungo Parish Church, south-westwards
along the said Pollokshaws Eoad to a point opposite
the middle of Moss Eoad ; thence westwards along
the middle of Moss Eoad to the middle of the bridge
carrying the said road over the Barrhead and Kilmar-
nock Joint-Railway; thence south-westwards along
the middle of said railway till it is intersected by the
Municipal boundary of the City; thence following
the Municipal boundary eastwards, southwards, east-
wards, southwards, eastwards, south-eastwards, north-
wards, and eastwards to the boundary between the
Counties of Lanark and Eenfrew ; thence in a north-
erly direction along the said County boundary to the
boundary between the Parishes of Govan and Cath-
cart; thence westwards and northwards along said
Parish boundary till it again meets the boundary
between the Counties of Lanark and Eenfrew west of
Aikenhead Eoad; thence following said County
boundaiy westwards, southwards, westwards, and
northwards to the Parliamentary boundary south of
Allison Street; thence following said Parliamentary
boundary westwards to the middle of Pollokshaws
Eoad, at the point first before described.
XXIII. Ward.— PoUokshields.
That portion of the City and Eoyal Burgh com-
prehended within a line drawn from a point in the
middle Kne of Pollokshaws Eoad, where the same is
intersected by the Parliamentary boundary at Strath-
bungo Parish Church, westwards, northiwards, and
north-westwards to the Municipal boundary south of
Shields Station ; thence following the said Municipal
boundary westwards, northwards, westwards, south-
eastwards, southwards, eastwards, and southwards to
the middle of the Barrhead and Kilmarnock Joint-
Eailway ; thence north-eastwards along the middle of
said railway to the middle of the bridge carrying
Moss Eoad over the said railway ; thence eastwards
along the middle of Moss Eoad to the middle of
Pollokshaws Eoad ; thence north-eastwards along the
middle of Pollokshaws Eoad till it is intersected by
the Parliamentary boundary, at the point first before
described.
XXIV. Ward.— Kelvinside.
That portion of the City and Eoyal Burgh com-
prehended within a line di-awn from a point in the
middle of the bridge over the Eiver Kelvin at Great
Western Eoad, where it is intersected by the middle
line of said river, northwards and westwards up the
middle of the said river to the Municipal boundary
immediately east of the Corporation Gasworks at
Dawsholm ; thence following said Municipal boundary
south-westwards, westwards, southwards, eastwards,
south-westwards, southwards, south-westwards, east-
wards, northwards, eastwards, southvvards, eastwards,
northwards, eastwards, north-eastwards, eastwards,
and south-eastwards to the Parliamentary boundary
in University Avenue ; thence eastwards along the
Parliamentary boundary to the middle of the River
Kelvin ; thence north-eastwards along the middle of
the Eiver Kelvin to the middle of said bridge at Great
Western Eoad, the point first before described.
XXV. Ward.— Maryhill.
That portion of the City and Eoyal Burgh compre-
hended within a line drawn from a point in the middle of
the Eiver Kelvin where the Parliamentary boundary
joins that river north of Tillie Street, up the middle of
the said river until the Municipal boundary is reached
near the Corporation Gasworks at Dawsholm ; thence
north-westwards, north-eastwards, eastwards, south-
eastwards, eastwards, southwards, and south-east-
wards along the said boundary until it is intersected
