Rates for the use of Ckanes capable of lifting Fifteen Tons and dpwaeds,
and for putting in or taking out of Steam Vessels Machinery, Engines, and Boilers.

But no charge for any single employment of the
Crane to be less' than for Three Tons.
All necessary use of "the Crane, from the lifting of
a piece of machinery off its carriage until stowed or
adjusted in the Vessel, or from the lifting of a piece
of machinery from the Vessel until placed on the
carriage, shall he included in one hoist.
For Lifts of more than Seventy Tons and not more
than One Hundred Ton'?, for each Ton or part of a

When a Crane of Class 3 is used for Articles
weighing less than Twelve Tons, the same rates may,
in the option of the Trustees, be charged as are speci-
fied in Class 2. ' "
In each Class all necessary use of a Crane, from
the lifting of an article off its Carriage or Lighter
until stowed or adjusted in the Vessel, or from the
lifting of an article from the Vessel until placed on
its Carriage or Lighter, shall be included in one Lift ;
but if steam is required to be raised a second time in
the course of a Lift, an additional charge of Five
Shillings for a Crane of Class 1, Ten Shillings for a
Crane of Class 2, and Fifteen Shillings for a Crane
of Class 3 may be made.
Putting into or taking out of Vessels, machinery,
engines and boilers (nOt being cargo), including
fitting-up, per Ton, 4s. 6d. ; but if the rates for any
single day of ten hours, during the employment of
the Crane, do not amount to £2 2s., then the charge
for such day to be £2 2s., and in proportion for a
shorter period, and no charge to be less than for half
a day.

Rates to be charged for Pumping the Graving Dock
at Entry.
One Penny Farthing per Ton on each Vessel on
entering the Gravmg Dock.
The rates on Steam Vessels for use and pumping,
to be charged on the Gross Registered tonnage on
leaving the Dock.
The tide in which a Vessel shall enter the Graving
Dock shall be counted one tide ; and the tide in which
a Vessel shall leave the Graving Dock shall also be
counted one tide.
In the Case of any Vessel on which repairs or alter-
ations requiring more than twenty-four tides are con-
sidered necessary, special arrangements may be made
before entry or after inspection in Dock, but before
any repairs are commenced, for the use by such Vessel
of the Graving Dock for any period longer than
twenty-four tides, upon payment of the following
Rates : —

Rates for the Swinging Buoys.
Every Vessel using the Swinging Buoys, laid
down by the Clyde Trustees, for the pur-
pose of enabling Vessels to adjust their
compasses ; per register Ton of the Vessel,
Rates for Govan and for Partick Passenger Wharfs.

Lng from, any Steamer calling at the Wharfs, 1
Passengers crossing from Govan to proceed from
tlie Partick Wharf by the river steamers, or crossing
to Govan from the steamers, will be charged th^
Wharf Dues only on presenting Checks, to be had
on payment of these Dues from the Ferrymen and the
Wharf Master respectively.
