of the Infirmary 1997 cases; the number of new
cases admitted in 1894 was 15,267, making the total
number of cases under the care of the medical officera
during the year 17,264, as against 15,416 in 1893.

Hours for admission of Patients. — In-door patients,
with lines, from 12 till 1 o'clock daily (Sunday ex-
cepted). Accidents and urgent cases admitted at any
hour. Dispensary open daily (Sunday excepted) at
2 o'clock. Diseases of women on Mondays, Tuesdays,
Wednesdays, and Fridays at 3.30 p.m. ; diseases of
the ear on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 3.30 p.m.;
diseases of the skin on Wednesdays at 9 a.m. ;
diseases of the teeth on Mondays and Thursdays at
4 p.m. ; diseases of the throat on Mondays and Thurs-
days at 4 p.m. Vaccination performed gratuitously
at the Dispensary on Mondays and Thursdays at 12
noon.
Friends admitted by card to see patients on Tues-
days and Fridays from 11 a.m. till 12 noon, and ou
Sundays from 10 till 11 a.m.

THE GLASGOW SOUTHERN MEDICAL
SOCIETY.
This Society was instituted in 1844 for mutual
improvement in professional knowledge, for mutual
assistance in professional duties, and for the pro-
motion of amicable feelings among&t the members.
The society meets at 11 Bridge Street every alternate
Thursday from October to May (inclusive). Secre-
