Objects. — The objects of this Society are to encour-
age the study and practice of tactics, the discussion
of military subjects, and the promotion of social inter-
course among the oiBcers of the various branches of
the auxiliary forces in the West of Scotland.

NATIONAL ASSOCIATION FOR EMPLOYMENT
OF EESEEVE AND DISCHAEGED SOLDIERS.
The object of the Association is to establish agen-
cies where soldiers of good character transferred to
the reserve, or discharged from the army and desu'ous
of obtaining employment, may learn what situations
offer, and in what industries they may look for work ;
also where gentlemen and employers of labour wish'
ing their services may apply.
