Stamped EnveLipes. — The embossed postage en-
velopes are of three sizes, viz, A. 4f- by 3-|-,j inches
(white), C. 5J by 3 inches (white), and "Commercial"
(white), and are sold at the following prices : —

Envelopes bearing an embossed halfpenny stamp
suitable for circulars, &c., entitled to transmission
in open covers at the Book Rate of Postage are also
for sale. They are in two sizes, and the prices are —
"Commercial" size, 20 for lid.; " Fooliscap " size,
20 for is., and so on in proportion.
Registered letter envelopes, for foreign as well
as inland letters, bearhig a twopenny stamp em-
bossed on the flap for the payment of the registra-
tion fee, are of five sizes, and are sold at the
following prices : — F. 5 J by 3 J inches, and G. 6 by
3^ inches, 2^(\. each, or 2s. 2^d. per packet of twelve ;
H. 8 by 5 inches, and H^. 9 by 4 inches, 2jd. each,
or 2s. 7d. per packet of twelve; and K. 11^ by 6
inches, 3d. each, or 2s. lOd. per packet of twelve.
Newspaper wrappers are sold at the following
prices: —

and so on at the rate of 4d. for every complete 7.

Uncut sheets of wrappers impressed with half-
penny postage stamps can be obtained at any Post
Office by giving two or three days' notice. They are
sold only in quarter reams of 120 sheets; each sheet
containing 14 virrappers, and the price per quarter
ream is £3 IBs.
Inland Post Cards are sold at the following

same rates as Stout Cards.

sheets; each sheet containing 42 cards, and the
prices are £12 6s. per quarter ream for stout or court
cards, and £11 Ss. for thin cards.

At Post Offices which are not Money Order Offices,
sub- postmasters are required to keep ^d. and Id.
stamps, post cards, and registered letter envelopes
only; but they are bound, on application, to pro-
cure postage stamps of other values, embossed
postage envelopes, and newspaper wrappers.
