by the ITamburgh Mail, unless otherwise addressed. Postage
from London (to Hamburgh, Bremen, and Lubeck excepted) Is
8d not exceeding h oz., 3s 4d not exceeding 1 oz., and so on.
From any other place Is lOd not exceeding h oz., 3s 8d not
exceeding 1 oz., and so on, which must be paid in advance.
Letters for Hamburgh, Bremen, and Lubeck, are forwarded by
Hamburgh Mail. Postageto Hamburgh and Lubeck 6d, not
exceeding J oz., Is not exceeding 1 oz; to Bremen 8d not ex-
ceeding J oz., Is 4d not exceeding 1 oz. When specially so
addressed, the letters for any of the German States may be sent
every evening via France or Belgium, and on the mornings of
"Wednesday and Saturday via Holland, via France ; the postage
is Is 3d under J oz., 2s Id under J oz., 3s 4d under | oz., 4s 2d
under 1 oz., 5s lOd under Ij oz., payment optional. Via Hol-
land and Belgium, 8d not exceeding J oz. The postage jnust be
paid in advance in the two latter cases. Newspapers to Bremen,
Hamburgh, and Lubeck, pass free by packet. To Frankfort and
the German States they are charged 2d each.
