MUTUAL LIFE ASSURANCE.
SCOTTISH PEOVIDENT INSTITUTIOJSf
14, St. Andrew Square, Edinburgh.
67, St. Vincent Street, Glasgow,
<« PFe do not Iiesifate to declare our conviction, that the
Mutual system is the only one which the Public at
large are concerned to support." — (liamberss Journal,
Special Notice.
THE Directors rely on the co-operation of the Mem-
bers to disseminate a knowledge of the principles
and consequent advantages of the Institution.
The Scottish Provident Institution is the only Office
in which the benefit of Mutual Assurance can be obtain-
ed at a Moderate Premium,
The Premiums are about a fourth lower than in the
other Mutual Offices — so that the same Premium which
at age 30, is charged by them for an Assurance of £1000,
will secure a Policy, in this Office, for £1230.
The Whole Profits are divisable among the Assured, on
a peculiar principle, which is at once more safe, equit'
able, and favourable to good lives, than that in general use.
The number of Policies issued, since the commence-
ment in 1837, exceeds that of any other Scottish Office of
similar duration ; and the Directors are enabled to state
that the affairs are in a highly prosperous condition.
