centia. Letters forwarded daily by France, may be paid
only as far as Calais, 5d. not exceeding 3^ oz., and so
on ; or to the frontier town of Casa Pusterlango or San
Banedetto, Is. 3d. under M oz , 2s. Id, under -^ ess., 3s.
4d. under % cz , 4s. 2d. under 1 oz., 5s. lOd. under
lU cz , and so on. Or Letters for the Papal States
or two Sicilies may, if addressed, *' by Marseilles by
French Packet," be forwarded unpaid hy the packets
which leave Marseilles on the 1st, llth, 21st of each
month, at 5 P. M. ; or paid to destination by the same

mornings of the 2nd and 17th (or in the event of the
2nd falling on a Sunday, on the evening of the ] st, or
if the 17th fall on a Sunday, on the morning of the 18th)
of every month, by Southampton, at the uniform rate of
Is. 2d, not exceeding -^ oz., and so on. Letters address-*
ed to or posted at Kingston, (the Packet port in Jam-
aica) not being liable to inter-colonial postage, are char-^
ged only Is. per ^ oz. and so on.
