MUTUAL ASSURANCE with MODERATE PREMIUMS.
THE PREMIUMS are so Moderate that an Assurance of £1200
or £1250 may generally be secured from the first for the yearly
payment which would usually elsewhere assure (with profits) £1000
only — being equivalent to an immediate Bonus of 20 to 25 per
cent.
The WHOLE SURPLUS goes to the Policyholders on a system
at once safe and equitable — no share being given to those by whose
early death there is a loss. On this principle large additions
have been, and will be, made to the Policies of those who live to
participate, notwithstanding the lowness of the premiums.
The SURPLUS at the 7th Septennial Investigation with Division
of Profits amounted to £1,423,018, or deducting amount already
paid as Intermediate Bonuses, £1,362,186— of which £970,391 was
divided among 13,220 Policies entitled to participate, and £391,796
was reserved for future accumulation and division.

* A person of 30 may thus secure £1000 at death, by the yearly payment during
life of £20 15s., which would generally elsewhere assure (with profits) £800
only. Or he may secure £1000 by twenty-one yearly payments of £27 13s. ^d. —
being thus free of painnent after age 50.
t At 40 the Premium, ceasing at 60 is, for £1000, £33 14s. 2d. — about the same
as most Offices require during the whole of life. Before the Premiums have
ceased the Policy will have shared in at least one division of profits.
To Professional Men and others whose income is dependent on health, the
limited payment system is specially recommended.
Arrangements as to Surrenders, Non-Forfeiture, Loans
ON Policies, Immediate Payment of Claims, Free Residence,
etc., are specially liberal.
