LIFE ASSURANCE.
The last Valuation of the Life business was made at 31st December, 1884, and showed a
Realized Surplus or Peofit of £300,000-
The ordinary Policies now being issued under the Company's Early Bonus Scheme received a
Bonus Addition at the Eate of £2 for each £100 assured in respect of each Year for which they
were entitled to rank for Bonus. Such Policies, after Three Years, are Indisputable, World-wide,
and not liable to Extinction on Non-payment of Premiums, subject to the Conditions explained
in the Prospectus.
A large Balance of Profits was carried forward both under this and under the
SPECIAL BONUS SCHEME,
under which Policies issued at Non-profit Rates receive in the first place in effect an immediate
and considerable Bonus, owing to the largeness of the sum which can be assured at a small
rate, and afterwards share in the Profits after their Premiums, accumulated at 4 per cent.
Compound Interest, amount to the sum assured.
FIRE INSURANCE.
Property of almost every description Insured at Moderate Premiums, and with absolute
Security. Settlement of Claims Prompt and Liberal.
