ANNUAL REPORT, 1886. «
The New Policies issued during 1885 were 689, assuring £361,537; and the New
Premiums amounted to £13,816. The Claims by Death, arising under 163 Life Policies,
amounted to £106,535. The Surplus on the year's, transactions, amounting to £42,260, was
added to the Accumulated Funds, which amounted at Christmas to £1,385,577. The Total
Sums Assured at Christmas, 1885, amounted to £4,308,335. The Claims by Death already
paid by the Association exceed £2,267,000.
NEW AND LIBERAL CONDITIONS.
I^HE attention of intending Assurers is specially invited to the New PfiosrECTUS of the
Association, containing Revised Tables of Rates calculated on the most exact data avail- jj
able at the present time. New Conditions have also been introduced, conferring Liberal and
advantageous privileges on the Assured.
Low Rates of Premium lor Fixed Benefits.
Kon-ForfeitaWe Policies— Secured Payments.
Endowment-Assurances payable during Life.
Family Trust Policies specially secured.
Policies Lulisputable after Five Years.
Free Residence within Extended Limits.
Claims payable immediately on proof of Death.
JJine-Tenths of Profits given to the Assured.
The Eiglith Quinquennial Investigation is noiv in progress, and the Division of Profits following i
thereon will he declared in May next. \
The Bonus hitherto declared on Whole-Term Policies entitled to participate in Profits basi
never been less than £1 lOs. per cent, for every full annual premium paid. ;
Policies effected during present year will rank as of Five Years' Standing at the Ninth i
Division of Profits at Christmas, 1890.
Loans are granted, in connection -with Life Assurance, on Life Interests, Reversions, Personal
and other approved securities. Liberal Conditions as to Foreign Residence.
