1. Hutchesons' Educational Trust (constituted by
Scheme No. 9 under the Educational Endowments
[Scotland) Act, 1882.)
' The income is applied to the maintenance of a
grammar school for boys and a higher class school
for girls ; the education of foundationers, and to free
scholarships, school bursaries, university, and techni-
cal college bursaries, and higher education bursaries
for girls. Subsidies are paid to the Glasgow College
of Science and Arts, and to the Glasgow School of
Art and Haldane's Academy. Rector of Grammar

2. The Glasgow City Educational Endowments
Board (constituted by Scheme No. 10 under the
Educational Endowments (Scotland) Act, 1882.)
' The scheme embraces the following endowments ;
Anderson's School, Dr. A. Bell's Bequest, Coulter's
iMortification, Scotstarvit Mortification, Murdoch's
: iSchool, Hood's School, Maxwell School, Alexander's
' 'Endowment, M'Grigor's Bequest, Macfarlane's School
and M'Millan's Bequest. The scheme makes provi-
sion for the maintenance of a school for boys, free
1 ischolarships, school bursaries, bursaries for technical
' land higher education, university bursaries, &c. The
bursaries are awarded among pupils of public or state-
aided schools in Glasgow, or of any school maintained

I 3. The Glasgow General Educational Endowments
. IBoard (constituted by Scheme No. 11 under the
Educational Endowments (Scotland) Act, 1882.)
The scheme embraces the following endowments '■
Muir's School Fund, Millar and Peadie's School,
Wilson's School, Gardner's School, M'Lachlan's School,
and Graham's School. The scheme provides for the
awarding of free scholarships, school bursaries, techni-
cal and higher education bui'saries, bursaries for eve-
ning classes, &c. The bursaries are awarded among
pupils of public or state-aided schools in Glasgow
or public or state-aided schools in the district of the
School Board of Cathcart, or of any School Board
contiguous to and immediately adjoining the district
of the School Board of the burgh of Glasgow. Secre-

GLASGOW PHOTOGRAPHIC ASSOCIATION.
Instituted 16th February, 1860.
Has for its object the advancement of photography
both as an art and as a science by reading and discussing
papers bearing on photographic matters, promoting
competitions among the members by giving diplomas
or awards for the best pictures, circulating among
the members choice specimens of the photographic
art, and transacting such other business as may be
in unison with the name and purpose of the associa-
tion. The association meets on the first Thursday
of every month from September to April inclusive,
in the Philosophical Society's Rooms, 207 Bath Street.
Annual subscription, 5s.

THE MASTER MASONS' ASSOCIATION OF
GLASGOW AND VICINITY.
The object of the association is to collect informa-
tion regarding the state of the labour-market and
other matters connected with the trade for the use
and guidance of members ; to consider all questions
of wages, modes of measurement, disputes with work-
men which involve any principle of general import-
ance, and any other questions that may directly or
indirectly bear on the interests of the trade.
