HUNTERIAN CLUB.

IRVING CLUB.
Established 12th June, 1879.
This Club, which is under the direct patronage of
]\Ir. Henry Irving, devotes its attention to the study
of dramatic literature and orchestral music. IMeetino-s
are held in the Rooms, 109 Hope St. every Thursday
evening at 8.30, when amateurs and others interested
in matters dramatic are invited to attend. Play
nights are held on the first Thursday, and literary
nights on the third Thursday of each month. Appli-
cations for membership and other communications
to be addressed to the secretary.
GLASGOW CONSERVATIVE ASSOCIATION.
The objects of the association shall be to maintaif
those fundamental principles of the Constitutioi
â– which secure the prerogatives of the Crown, the Pro-
testant succession, the privileges of Parliament, anc
the equal civil rights of all classes ; to resist al
attempts to subvert our Protestant faith ; and, whili
opposing rash innovations, to support every well-
considered measure tending to promote the well-beinj
of the people, and to improve the financial adminis-
tration and judicial systems of the country.

NATURAL HISTORY SOCIETY OF GLASGOW.
Instituted 1851.
For the encouragement of the pursuit of natural
history in all its branches, by meetings for reading
of papers, exhibition cf specimens, and by excursions
to places of interest. Candidates for membership are
recommended by two members of the society. The
society meets on the last Tuesday of the month.s
September to April, and fortnightly during summer
in the society's rooms, 207 Bath Street.

THE GLASGOW SANITARY PROTECTION
ASSOCIATION.

The object of this association is to provide its'!
members at moderate cost with such advice and
supervision as shall insure the proper sanitary condi- **
tion of their own dwellings. This object is attained
by the members' houses being annually inspected and
reported on by our experienced engineer. Annual
subscription for town houses, 21s. Special arrange-
ments made for coast and country houses.
