Road. Hon. secretary, Mr. Andrew Drummond, 8
Newhall Terrace. Public services on Sundays at
11.30. and 6.30, when addresses are delivered by
trance and normal speakers.
Spiritualists make the claim that intercourse be-
tween the two worlds is actual and possible, that the
modern phenomena give clear and positive assurance
of a continuous and progressive life after the change
of death, and reveal in unmistakable fashion that
those we held as lost are with us still, and can, under
certain conditions, not only make their identity
manifest, but can help and cheer. That modern
spiritualism with its varied phenomena reveals much
that was mysterious regarding spiritual intercourse
in all ages, giving the key to the Delphic oracles,
the prophetic utterances of an Isaiah or a Jeremiah,
no less than those of a Swedenborg, and the outbreak
called the " gift of tongues " in the church of Edward
Irving. That it is not any special revelation given
to a sect, but a 7iew knowledge of natural phenomena
which will throw light on the realm of soul. Some
of the noblest of living minds in all ranks of literature
and science have declared that it has completely
dissipated their materialism, and made clear and
palpable the "future life." Resident speakers and
mediums, Mr. and Mrs. E. W. Wallis, 50 Langside Rd.
