EIVER AND HARBOUR RATES.

rates specified in this Schedule, unless they shall use any of the said Docks or Tidal Basins, or any of the
Quays or other works constructed by the Trustees on the banks of the River, within the limits of the Har
hour, or unless they shall take in or discharge their cargo or any part thereof within the said limits, or
shall remain therein longer than may be necessary for passing through the same.
ScuEDtJLB H. — 1. Rate on Goods co7iveyed upon, or shipjied or unshipped, in the River, or at the Harbour,
. or using any Transit Shed or Warehouse.
Goods in Vessels to or from any place out of the United ICingdom of Great Britain and Ireland are
liable for the Rates in the First Column ; and Goods in Vessels to or from any place within the United
Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, are liable for the Rates in the Second Column.
Goods brought to Glasgow for transhipment pay only the rate one way, either inwards or outwards,
in the option of the Trustees ; previous nstice being given at tlie Tonnage Oflfice before the Goods are
discharged or loaded.
