BYE-LAWS roa THE EEGULATION OF HACKNEY CAEEIAGES AND THE
BRIVEES THEEEOF,
At Glasgow, the twenty-sixth day of December,
Eighteen hundred and seventy-two years, the Magis-
trates' Committee of " The Board of Police, Glasgow,"
in virtue of the powers conferred on them by " The
Glasgow Police Act, 1866," hereby make and enact
the following Bye-laws for the Regulation of Hack-
ney Carriages, and the conduct of the Proprietors and
Drivers thereof, and ordain said Bye-laws to be
strictly observed and enforced from and after the
date of their being approved and confirmed by the
Sheriff of Lanarkshire, in terms of said Statute, and
until expressly altered.
