Majesty, the only child of His Royal Highness Edward, Duke of Kent (6. Nov. 2, 1767, d. Jan. 23, 1820,
m. 1818, Victoria-Mary-Louisa, b. Aug. 17, 1786, d. March 16, 1861, daughter of Francis, Duke of Saxe-
Coburg), fourth son of King George III., was born on the 24th May, 1819, succeeded to the Crown on the
demise of her uncle, his late Majesty William IV., on the 20th June, 1837; married Feb. 10, 1840,
